Outfit: Over the Knee & Asymmetric

Ich habe euch noch mein Outfit abgelichtet, welches ich auf der YSL loves your Lips Party in London getragen habe. Denn ich mochte es sehr! So simpel und doch irgendwie speziell.

Auffällig ist, dass ich im Gegensatz zu einem typischen Party-Outfit recht wenig Haut zeige – warum auch. Und gut, es ist zwar an einer Seite etwas kürzer, aber warum auch nicht mal Overknees mit einem Midi-Kleid oder einem Midi-Rock kombinieren? Ähnlich habe ich es auch schon an super stunning Sofia gesehen. Sie kombinierte ein High-Low-Rock aus einem halbdurchsichtigen Stoff zu ihren Overknees. Ein weiteres kleines Detail: Eine Umhängetasche mit Kettenträgern, als Clutch getragen, so dass die Träger lässig herunter baumeln. Und zu guter Letzt einen Appell für mehr Mut zu mixed metals – warum für eine Schmuckfarbe entscheiden, wenn man sie auch mischen kann. Der Schlüssel hier ist Balance.

Very untypical for an party outfit I’m not showing a lot of skin here – and why should I. The tightness of the dress and the little peak of skin at my thigh makes it sexy for my liking ;) And why not pair a midi dress (okay, mine is shorter on one side) or a midi skirt with overknee boots? I already saw a similar combination on  super stunning Sofia. She paired a semi-transparent high-low-cutted skirt with her over the knee boots. Another small detail: A chain bag but worn as a clutch so the chains are hanging casually on the sides. And last but not least a shoutout for more courage to wear mixed metals. Why decide on one when you can wear them all? The key here is: Balance.
